2011 Cricket World Cup

The 2011 Cricket World Cup will be held jointly in the four Asian test playing nations of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

All four nations will play an important role in the hosting of the tournament. The 2011 Cricket World Cup final will be staged in Mumbai, India with Pakistan and Sri Lanka each hosting a semi final. The opening ceremony and opening match will take place in Bangladesh.

A full timetable has not yet been decided for the 2011 Cricket World Cup but of the total 53 games scheduled for the tournament, 22 will be staged in India, 16 in Pakistan, 9 in Sri Lanka and 6 in Bangladesh.
